In recent years Lucas has added broader project management skills and systems to its long-standing technical expertise. With our range of services and deep experience, Lucas can deliver entire infrastructure projects.

Every major infrastructure project needs a range of specialised skills, working together. And often the biggest challenge isn't finding the skills, it's coordinating them.

Each Lucas division can apply their expertise to a project as it's needed. And because they share a common management structure, project management system and operating procedures, their interaction is seamless.

So, for example, on a coal seam gas project, the objective is to gather gas and get it to market. Lucas can do the preliminary work to develop a gas field and establish wells; our pipeline division can engineer, plan and construct the necessary pipelines; our construction and civil team can take care of any ancillary works; and our operations and maintenance people can keep it running, safely and profitably.

Civil

Lucas is also experienced in civil projects including water treatment works and marinas. Sydney Slipways (pictured above) is a major new marine maintenance facility we built for Sydney City Marine.

Currently, our construction expertise is being applied to Perth's second desalination plant.
