The Australian Pipeline Industry Association (APIA) elected its office-bearers for the year at APIA’s annual general meeting held in Cairns, Queensland.

Included among the executive is Kevin Lester, the general manager of Lucas' pipeline division, who was elected vice president of the association.

Peter Cox, WorleyParsons’ national pipelines manager, was elected as the association's new president and Oil Search general manager Richard Robinson as the new treasurer.

New board members include Dampier Bunbury Pipeline’s Mark Cooper, OneSteel Piping Systems’ Geoff Feurtado and Fyfe’s Mark Dayman. They join existing board members Ashley Kellett (immediate past president), APA Group’s Mick McCormack, McConnell Dowell’s Mark Twycross and Apache Energy’s Murray Durham.
