The ISO 9001 certificate is evidence for the high quality of Lucas products, in accordance to the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). This is so that both customers and stakeholders are both addressed and their requirements met. This certificate is held by Lucas from 2001.
AS/NZS 4801:2001 OHS Management System compliance since 2005
This certificate shows Lucas’ commitment to staff and workplace safety. AS/NS 4801 ensures an effective management system is in place and is established on health and safety standards relevant to all organisations. Bureau Veritas has certified Lucas from 2005.
OHSAS 18001 : 2007 OHS Management System compliance since 2005
An international standard giving requirements related to health and safety management systems to enable an organisation to control its risks and improve its performance.
AJ Lucas Operations Pty Ltd is accredited from 2 July 2010 to 1 July 2013, under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme. Meeting the Scheme’s stringent requirements for OHS compliance and ongoing review, proves that AJ Lucas shares the FSC’s vision of “...a building and construction industry where no one is harmed.”
By holding this compliance, this certification allows AJ Lucas Operations Pty Ltd to submit tenders and manage NSW Government projects deemed as 'high risk' work.
AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System since 2005
ISO 14001 is part of a series of international standards applicable to any organisation, anywhere, relating to environmental management. Based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, ISO 14001 specifies the most important requirements to identify, control and monitor the environmental aspects of any organization, and also how to manage and improve the whole system.
Since March 2011, the Lucas Environmental Management System has earned EMS Accreditation from the Department of Services, Technology and Administration.
