Lucas develops strategic partnerships with innovative companies whose skill sets compliment and broaden our own expertise. This integrated approach allows us to leverage our technical skills and experience into new markets, providing our customers with leading edge, infrastructure solutions.
Our strategic partners include:
Spiecapag: Lucas’ very successful joint venture with Spiecapag is now in its 17th year. Spiecapag is a Paris based international onshore pipeline and facilities contractor, today part of the Vinci Group, one of the world’s biggest contracting houses. The facilities include compression, pumping and metering stations, and hydrocarbon storage systems. Spiecapag’s know-how includes an extensive range of services covering EPC and turnkey contracting including finance, design, engineering, procurement, construction, project management, training, commissioning, and operation and maintenance. Lucas and Spiecapag have focused on larger pipeline projects in Australia such as the $350 million Port Campbell to Adelaide natural gas pipeline, an EPC contract finished on time and on budget with only one LTI which occurred on the last day! Over the years, many Lucas and Spiecapag personnel have become good friends and there is always “bonhomie” on these joint venture projects.
Groupe Marais: the European leader in micro trenching technology. In the past decade, Groupe Marais has installed more than 40,000km of networks in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America and has established 27 patents for their trenching solutions. Lucas has entered into a joint venture with Groupe Marais, called Marais-Lucas, offering the Telecommunications, Energy and Utilities sectors leading-edge trenching technology, patented systems and reliable project delivery.
