Lucas has a long-standing relationship with the Sydney Opera House for construction and maintenance solutions. Our ability to carry out works with minimal impact to artists and patrons has ensured a long and successful partnership with this client.

Works include the upgrade of the Utzon Room, refurbishment of the recording studio, upgrade of the foreshore parapets,  forecourt , retail and back-of-house areas.

With our fundamental understanding of pipeline infrastructure, Lucas is uniquely qualified to provide our clients with specialist pipeline maintenance services.

For the past ten years, Lucas has assisted APA Group with their Stress Corrosion Cracking Programme on the Moomba to Sydney gas pipeline. Works included excavating around the operating pipeline, removal of coal tar asbestos pipe coating in accordance with OH&S regulations, inspection for stress corrosion cracking, recoating of the repaired pipeline and reinstatement of the backfill.
