ABOUT

About

Founded in Sydney, Australia in the 1950's, the company became a highly specialised mining and infrastructure service provider in Australia. AJ Lucas listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1999 and saw considerable growth in the following years, concentrating on the resources market and undertaking significant projects in the Water, Oil and Gas segments.

Currently the Australian business focuses on drilling services to the Eastern seaboard coal mining industry by providing surface to inseam drilling services as well as exploration drilling projects.  We are a leading provider of exploration, production and directional drilling services to some of the world’s largest coal miners.

AJ Lucas has successfully proven up the potential for Oil and Gas development of several tenements in Eastern Australia. More recently, our investment in UK Shale represents our largest and most important asset, which we believe has the potential to become a world class energy asset.

Lucas is committed to ethical business practices, and expects its suppliers to comply with the Lucas Supplier Code of Conduct.
