Lucas started underground in-seam drilling in July 2000. Combining project and engineering capability to a well established underground in-seam market. We improved efficiency and focus on production and understand the market. Lucas retains the core knowledge and expertise to pursue inseam drilling, either for its well established client base or new clients.

We have drilled extensively throughout NSW QLD underground mines, mainly Appin, Mandelong, Whitehaven, Oaky Creek and Moranbah to name a few.

Our management system and risk identification process supports the work structure required to drill in what many feel is a hesitant environment.

Where SIS is not feasible or the lead time for gas drainage is not available to the mine, UIS becomes a critical part of any mines gas drainage plan.
